On August 17, 2025, the "AI Audiovisual Club – AI Short Drama Conference Hangzhou Station," jointly organized by Beijing Jutou Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Juhe Culture Media Co., Ltd., grandly opened at the Hangzhou Xingyun Kunpeng Center. Nicholas M. Xie, Founder and Chairman of HESHU Group, was invited to attend the conference. Focused on the theme “AI Short Drama Commercialization: Replicating the Industry’s Window of High Profitability,” the conference brought together 200–500 professionals, including government representatives, AI technology teams, traditional film and television companies, industry investors, faculty and students, and leading platform operators.
The event aimed to deconstruct the AI short drama industry chain, explore new monetization pathways, and establish a high-end platform for resource exchange and idea sharing, positioning stakeholders to capture the next opportunity in AI-driven content. I. Conference Positioning: Precise Alignment with AI Short Drama Ecosystem, Building a “Technology-Content-Capital” Integration Platform As a landmark exchange event during the boom of AI short drama, the conference was positioned with precision, high-level dialogue, and practical focus. It invited government advisors, industry experts, enterprise representatives, and media personnel to form a closed-loop communication ecosystem.
Target audiences covered five core groups: Technology side: AI algorithm R&D teams and AI content tool developers; Content side: Traditional film/television companies, mini-program platforms, short drama producers, and professionals transitioning into AI short drama/comics; Capital side: Industrial investors and film/television fund representatives; Talent side: Faculty and students in advertising, animation, and fine arts; Ecosystem players: Copyright owners, distribution channels, data analysis agencies, and other industrial chain roles. By integrating the entire chain of “technology empowerment → content production → capital injection,” the conference addressed core challenges in AI short drama production—from script creation and AI technology implementation to distribution and monetization—aiming to replicate the high-growth momentum seen in the short drama industry three years ago and advance AI short drama from “rapid expansion” to “industrialized operation.”
II. Organizational Structure: Multi-Party Collaboration Fills Gap in Industry Exchange The conference was co-hosted by Beijing Jutou Culture Media and Shenzhen Juhe Culture Media, undertaken by Shenzhou Jurong Brand Management and Hangzhou Hongyao Brand Management, and co-organized by Hangzhou Xingyaoxian Technology, Hangzhou Xingshixian Technology, Hangzhou Dingtian Culture Media, and Shenzhou Juran Film Media. Media support included industry KOLs such as “Shuai Zong,” “Short Drama Tang Dynasty,” and “Short Drama Mr. Right,” as well as promotion agencies like Qilin Co-Creation Promotion Agency, Zhang Bieren Studio, Short Drama New Force, Yiyu Observation, and Short Drama New Circle.
At a time when AI short drama has become a “collectively bet-on” sector for major platforms (with thousands of episodes produced monthly and daily content consumption exceeding tens of millions), this conference achieved a dual breakthrough: In-depth analysis of the industrial chain; Precise resource connection. It provided technology teams with commercial opportunities, helped capital identify high-potential projects, and offered traditional film companies a clear transition path—filling a critical gap in industry dialogue. III. Conference Highlights: Decoding the Commercialization of AI Short Drama Across Three Dimensions Comprehensive Breakdown of the Industry Chain: Revealing Industrial Production Logic “From 0 to 1” Practitioners were invited to dissect key segments—from “creative breakthroughs” in scriptwriting and “algorithm empowerment” by AI tech teams to “traffic strategies” for distribution—unveiling the industrial logic behind AI short drama production, optimization, and monetization.
Participants gained insights into core capabilities across the entire chain. Exclusive Data and Trend Analysis: Identifying the Most Lucrative Segments The conference delved into the rationale behind major platforms’ investments in AI short drama, using real data to illustrate growth trends—from user profiles and content preferences to monetization models. It revealed the “most profitable sub-sectors,” such as AI comic dramas, branded custom ads, and overseas expansion, providing clear guidance for strategic planning. Zero-Distance Resource Connection: Facilitating “Large Model-Tech-Content-Capital-Platform” Matching The event gathered proven platform experts, top AI technology teams, experienced investors, and film producers to break down information barriers.
On-site matching enabled “one-on-one” collaboration in areas including copyright trading, script co-creation, AI technology partnerships, and investment deals, paving the way for project implementation and business cooperation.
